Scholarship Program Eligibility
To be eligible for the CSWI Scholarship Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Status of Parent or Guardian
The student’s parent or guardian must be an Eligible Employee of a CSW Industrials company, and the student must be claimed as a dependent on the employee’s most recent tax return. An Eligible Employee is defined as someone who is a full-time, non-union, active worker employed by a CSWI affiliate business in the United States or Canada for at least one year, as of January 2, 2024. No employee who is suspended for disciplinary reasons or on a performance improvement plan shall be considered to be an Eligible Employee. No employee who is an officer or director of the Fund or an officer or director of CSWI or any of its affiliates shall be considered an Eligible Employee.
Age and Academic Status
Applicants must be under the age of 26 and one of the following:
- a recent high school graduate, earning a minimum 2.5 GPA
- a current high school senior who plans to graduate by June 2024, earning a minimum 2.25 GPA
- a current college or university student with a minimum 2.25 GPA
- completing GED testing or holding a GED diploma (vocational training)
- currently enrolled and in good standing in career or technical training
Enrollment
Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll full-time in:
- an associate or bachelor’s degree program at a college or university for the Fall 2024-Spring 2025 academic year
OR
- an accredited non-degree vocational, trade, or technical training at a community college or private career school
