Scholarship Program Eligibility

To be eligible for the CSWI Scholarship Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

EMPLOYMENT STATUS OF PARENT/GUARDIAN

The student’s parent or guardian must be an Eligible Employee of a CSW Industrials subsidiary in the United States or Canada, and the student must be claimed as a dependent on the employee’s most recent tax return. An Eligible Employee is defined as someone who is a full-time, non-union, active worker employed by a CSWI affiliate business in the United States or Canada for at least one year, as of April 9, 2025. No employee who is suspended for disciplinary reasons or on a performance improvement plan shall be considered to be an Eligible Employee. No employee who is an officer or director of the Fund or an officer or director of CSWI or any of its affiliates shall be considered an Eligible Employee.

AGE AND ACADEMIC STATUS OF APPLICANT

Applicants must be under the age of 24 and one of the following: 

  • a current senior who plans to graduate high school by June 2025, earning a minimum 2.5 GPA
  • a current college student with a minimum 2.25 GPA who is returning for their sophomore, junior, or senior year in the Fall 2025 semester
  • a recent high school graduate or holder of a GED diploma who plans to enroll in a vocational or technical training school for the Fall 2025 semester
  • a current student in good standing at a vocational/technical training school who is returning for the Fall 2025 semester to complete their certification

ENROLLMENT STATUS OF APPLICANT

Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll full-time or part-time in:

  • an associate or bachelor’s degree program at a college for the Fall 2025-Spring 2026 academic year

OR

  • an accredited non-degree vocational, trade, or technical training program at a community college or private career school
